Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Education and Professional Development

1996–1998 University of Pennsylvania Additional study: Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; Art Students League of New York. 2015 Began photographing (started with street work; moved into long-form social documentary practice).

Selected Projects

2015–present Skid Row (Los Angeles) — long-term social documentary work begun in fall 2015. c. 2021–present Kensington (Philadelphia) — long-term documentary work.

Selected Awards

2016 LensCulture Street Photography Awards — Finalist (work from Downtown Los Angeles / Skid Row). 2017 Feature Shoot Emerging Photography Awards — Winner (recognized for her documentary work including Skid Row). 2023 BarTur Photo Award — Highly Commended, Faces of Humanity.
